The Cindy McCormick Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for any student of Nackawic Senior High School who will be graduating in June 2023. This scholarship will assist two students with the costs of post-secondary education.

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a student of Nackawic Senior High School with an acceptance of a post-secondary institution (university, community college, etc.)
  • Candidates must be starting their first year of their post-secondary education in Fall 2023.
  • Candidate must complete: The Application (three questions) and answer the Essay below.
  1. Essay- Cindy absolutely loved her time at NHS, she could often be heard laughing in the hall, running to volleyball practice or volunteering her time. Take us back to high school and tell us what it was like to go to Nackawic Senior High. The good and the bad. The benefits and disadvantages of going to a small school. Use examples.
  2. Remember Be Creative, be funny, make sure your essay stands outs!
  • We are also seeking two students that:
  • Are altruistic and friendly to all
  • Want to improve themselves so that they may give back to their community one day
  • Has been active during their school years by participating in extracurricular activities
