Portage Atlantic Webinar

Portage Atlantic has been hosting a series of webinars. The next webinar entitled Teens and Drugs (information attached) is in May and will be targeted to parents, but anyone can attend and it is free. The webinar will be presented by two Portage Atlantic employees.  They will provide information on signs to look out for when it comes to youth’s exposure to drugs and alcohol. They will touch on having an open and honest discussion with their teen about this topic – which can be tricky territory. They provide concrete tips on how to open up that dialogue. Participants will learn about current drug trends among teens and the effects of social media and the impact on adolescents and mental health. During the symposium attendees can pose questions anonymously and can follow up with questions or concerns if and when they want to.
