The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) is offering a free summer learning program for students. It is open to students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 in the upcoming school year and to those who graduate in June 2024. To be eligible, you need to be registered in a New Brunswick high school, in June of this year, in one of the four Anglophone districts.
This program allows you to earn a mark that will be added to your regular school transcript. These are full courses and take a significant amount of time to complete (~4 hours each day). If you want to improve a mark or get ahead in a course, and you have the time to commit, this program might be for you.
This program requires daily attendance and participation. If you are unable to commit the required time,
this program is not a good fit for you. These courses will be available online coming school year as well.
