NBCC is pleased to announce that a new online application system is now live for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The Winter 2026 intake is the first available through the new NBCC Application Portal.
Please note that applications and documents for Fall 2025 will still be submitted through the existing system until it closes at the end of September 2025.
What This Means for High School Transcripts
For the graduating class of 2025, students may continue submitting transcripts by email. However, once the current system closes, NBCC will no longer accept transcripts via email. From that point forward, students will be required to upload their transcripts themselves through the new portal.
Why the Change?
NBCC’s new portal is designed to streamline the application process and provide real-time transparency for applicants. To support this improved service, all communication and documentation must be submitted by the applicant directly through their personal NBCC Application Portal.
As a result, guidance counsellors and schools will no longer be able to submit transcripts on behalf of students once the transition is complete.
Benefits for Students
- Immediate confirmation: Students will know instantly that NBCC has received their transcript—no need to follow up or resend.
- Shared visibility: Whether speaking with Recruitment, Admissions, or Customer Service, everyone can access the same up-to-date information.
- 24/7 access: Students can view and download any documents they’ve uploaded at any time.
- Faster processing: Applications can be evaluated as soon as the transcript is uploaded, eliminating delays caused by email-based submissions.
The new NBCC Application Portal is a comprehensive, student-focused platform that simplifies the entire application experience.
