Are you a grade 11–12 student or a university student looking for a fun and rewarding summer job?
Central York’s Recreation & Parks is hiring 4 SEED Students for the position of Recreation Attendant, starting May 1, 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to stay active, gain valuable work experience, and make a real difference in your community. As a Recreation Attendant, you’ll support local programs and help keep our community recreation facilities running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
• Assist with recreational programs and community activities
• Support events and summer programs
• Support maintenance and upkeep of community recreation spaces
• Provide friendly, welcoming service to residents and visitors
Skills you’ll gain and use:
• Communication and teamwork
• Problem-solving and creative thinking
• Computer and workplace skills
• Organization and time management
• Hands-on experience in recreation and tourism
