Two NBFL AIL Solidarity Awards valued at $500 each are offered annually. The objective of the award is to encourage greater public awareness and understanding of the value of unions to workers and society in New Brunswick.


Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education on a full-time basis or enrolled in high school at the grade 12 level or in the General Educational Development (GED) program.

Applicants must return a completed application form and fully comply with all entry rules. Deadline for receipt of entries is June 30th each year.

The successful applicant will be notified when a decision is reached and an official announcement of the winner will be made by the Secretary-Treasurer of the New Brunswick Federation of Labour.
