The Faculty of Engineering at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton is excited to host Go CODE Girl 2026 on March 21st, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Head Hall on the UNB Fredericton campus. This nationwide event introduces girls and non-binary youth in Grades 7-12 to the exciting world of Computer Science and Software engineering through fun, hands-on activities.
Participants will participate in coding challenges and connect with female-identifying engineers, from undergraduate students to professionals, who will share their experiences and insights. Our goal is to inspire students to explore computer science and engineering, keeping future STEM opportunities open.
The event is free and includes snacks and take-home swag.
