NBCC is currently trying to gauge if there is interest in a Mechanized Forest Equipment Operator (MFEO) program in Fredericton tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

This program provides students with the knowledge and practical skills required to become skilled operators. The program uses simulators to help students gain the skills they need to become skilled equipment operators. Students will also learn to perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs. Emphasis is placed on safety, environmental sustainability, and commercial operations.
Prerequisites:
- High School Diploma, Adult High School Diploma, or GED (High School Equivalency Diploma),
or - Essential Skills Achievement Pathway: Post-Secondary Entry High School,
or - Apply as a Mature Student
