VIVA Therapeutic Services (formerly Autism Intervention Services) is searching for Behaviour Interventionists – an excellent opportunity for new high school graduates!
We are searching for new Behaviour Interventionists – they are our front-line workers. Behaviour Interventionists work with preschool aged children with autism in their homes, at early learning centres, and at our agency. BIs are a key team member who are responsible for implementing teaching programs to help children learn. This might include communication, cooperation, developing play and social skills, daily living.
This is an excellent opportunity for high-school graduates that are interested in the fields of education, psychology, communication or occupational therapy. We provide robust training and opportunities for growth and career development.
Our mandate is to provide autistic preschool-aged children a high quality, evidence-based service aimed at teaching skills and improving day to day life. At VIVA, our programs are based on behavioural and developmental approaches, and are highly individualized to meet the needs of the child and family. As a result of our program’s success, we have gained the confidence of the NB Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and currently serve over 500 families across the province of New Brunswick.
